Figure - Judging Criteria
Figure-symmetry will be primarily focused on the shoulders, latissimus dorsi and quadriceps. Abdominal development is very important as well. Definition with a limited amount of striated muscles. Hands on hip front display (lat spread), side chest any side (palms of hands touching displaying chest, upper body, legs and calf), Side tricep (any side, both hands are extended downward and opened) back display with hands open, along the side of the head while displaying) Abdominals display, and abdominal and leg display)
Figure - Judging Procedures
The judging will be conducted in three rounds. Each competitor in the class will be given a single placement based on her total performance as set forth in the judging criteria.
The contest promoter has the right to specify the type of swimwear which is permissible; it may be limited to a two piece suit, bikini,
G-Strings/thongs ARE NOT PERMITTED. Competitors should check with the promoter in advance of the competition which type(s) of swimsuit are allowed. The attire should be chosen to best and most advantageously show the figure and conditioning. The suit may be of solid color, multicolored, decorated, embroidered, jeweled, sequined, or tasseled. Wearing makeup and jewelry is optional and the choice of the competitor. High heel shoes are standard footwear during Rounds 1 & 2. At the discretion of the head FitSciences official, the use of light body oil may be permitted.
Round 1. Symmetry - Quarter Turns
All competitors in the class will present themselves on stage in serial order in a straight line or curve facing the judges and assume a semi-relaxed stance with ankles touching. The head judge will instruct the competitors as a group to execute a series of quarter turns to the right allowing the judges to view them from the front, left side, back, and right side before returning to the front position. When the judges are satisfied, Round 1 is completed.
Height Classes
Athletes are also divided into height depending on the final competitor count and median height of the athletes. The general height classes are:
Females

Finals/Prizes
The top 3 in each class will be called to the center of the stage. The winner of each class will be awarded. The top 10 overall highest scorers will compete in the evening finals. Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers.
Class winners will receive gift prizes valued at $150 and more.
1st place $450*, 2nd place $250*, 3rd place $150*
*Prize money has bonus prizes included
*Prize money: 50% will be paid within 4months of the competition.
*Bonus prizes are earned upon returning the following year to defend your placings.
